Job Description: As a Warehouse Manager at Smyth Import Export, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of FMCG products. You will play a critical role in managing inventory, improving operational processes, and leading a dedicated team to achieve our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained and conduct regular stock audits.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems and processes.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
