We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team and drive our financial strategy and performance.
Job Summary: As the Finance Manager at Evolve Trading, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company’s financial activities. You will be responsible for developing financial strategies, managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Provide insightful analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial plans. Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiencies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and summaries for senior management. Present financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Control: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain internal controls and safeguard company assets.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources to support business operations and growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders as required. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, investment opportunities, and market expansions.
Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. Excellent understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Software: Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, financial analysis software).
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
