Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager at Evolve Trading will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional organisational and leadership skills. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to optimise our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, production, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favourable contracts and agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure product availability.
- Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to continuously improve supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, practices, and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
