Position: Finance Manager

Job Description:
AAA Trade is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and ensuring the financial health of our business as we continue to grow and expand in the competitive beer market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Provide strategic insights and analysis to support business decisions and optimize financial performance.
  2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Cost Management: Monitor and analyse costs and expenses across various functions of the business. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality standards.
  4. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow projections, monitor liquidity needs, and optimise working capital. Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure adequate funding for business operations.
  5. Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities.
  6. Tax Planning and Compliance: Collaborate with external tax advisors to develop tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Manage tax reporting and filings to minimise tax liabilities.
  7. Financial Risk Management: Assess financial risks facing the business, such as currency exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement appropriate hedging mechanisms.
  8. Business Partnering: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives and projects.
  9. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Experience with financial planning and budgeting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead a team effectively.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results and continuous improvement.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
