Job Description:
AAA Trade is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and ensuring the financial health of our business as we continue to grow and expand in the competitive beer market.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Provide strategic insights and analysis to support business decisions and optimize financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyse costs and expenses across various functions of the business. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality standards.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow projections, monitor liquidity needs, and optimise working capital. Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure adequate funding for business operations.
- Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Collaborate with external tax advisors to develop tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Manage tax reporting and filings to minimise tax liabilities.
- Financial Risk Management: Assess financial risks facing the business, such as currency exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement appropriate hedging mechanisms.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives and projects.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead a team effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results and continuous improvement.
